Try Scuba

Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Try Scuba is for you.  Try Scuba is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. To sign up for a Try Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health. Are you ready to try it out? 

Course Information:
You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a SSI Professional. Get ready to:
  • Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear.
  • Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater.
  • Learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive.
  • Have fun swimming around and exploring.
  • Hear about becoming a certified diver through the  Open Water Course

Get your scuba diving certification with the Open Water Diver course – the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course. Millions of people have learned to scuba dive and gone on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through this course. To enroll in a Open Water Diver course you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

    Course Information:

    The Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases that takes place over 1-2 weeks.

    • Knowledge Development to understand basic principles of scuba diving
    • Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
    • Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!

    • Be at least 10 years of age
    • No medical conditions or medical release from a physician
    • Course materials
    • Personal snorkeling gear (mask, fins, snorkel, boots)
    • Park entry fees

    Course Includes:
    • Small Class Sizes lead by professionally trained instructors
    • 1 on 1 attention
    • Material and equipment review before pool and open water experience
    • All questions are welcomed
    • Safe diving practices taught, reviewed and practiced
    • Experiencing the flora/fauna of local lakes and rivers
    • Mini celebration at the completion of course

    • Course materials
    • Personal snorkeling gear (mask, fins, snorkel, boots)
    • Park entry fees
